Captain International's work has expanded from CE and management-system services to documentation and application preparation for different export markets. The timeline below describes changes in our service focus and collaboration methods based on company-provided information.

2014 | Company established

Captain International Business Co., Ltd. was approved for establishment on 19 December 2014. CE and management-system services were at the core of our work. We started with product technical information, testing needs and management processes to help businesses prepare documentation for external cooperation.

2017–2019 | Medical devices, information security and EAC

We established cooperation channels with European notified bodies and coordinated assessments and technical documentation when required by products. Management-system services expanded into areas such as medical devices and information security. We also began providing EAC-related implementation services in response to customers' export plans.

2020–2022 | Remote collaboration and FCC / FDA implementation services

During the pandemic, we introduced cloud-based document collaboration and remote communication so customers and consultants could organize drawings, reports and missing information together. Digital and AI tools helped organize regulatory information, structure documents and prepare multilingual drafts. Our services also expanded to FCC- and FDA-related implementation work.

2023 to present | Coordinating preparation for different markets

We brought together product classification, regulatory mapping, technical documentation and coordination with relevant organizations to help businesses plan compliance work for different markets. Management-system implementation services continue alongside this work.

Second-Party and Third-Party Verification and Validation Certificates

Our verification and validation work is performed independently in accordance with international standards, preserving impartiality.

1. Second-party verification

Second-party verification is carried out by a purchaser / customer to assess its suppliers and confirm whether they meet the purchaser's requirements for quality, environment, sustainability, carbon emissions and other matters. It is a contractual audit between buyer and seller, outside the scope of the Global ACI MRA multilateral mutual-recognition agreement. The certificate primarily applies within that purchasing supply-chain context.

2. Third-party verification and validation

Third-party verification / validation is conducted by an impartial body independent of both the commissioning party and the party being assessed. The body reviews documents and conducts on-site audits against applicable international standards and requirements, then issues a certificate after confirming that the system or data meets the requirements.

Notes:

  1. Second-party verification is outside the scope of the Global ACI MRA.
  2. Third-party verification and validation certificates do not participate in the Global ACI MRA framework, but the work is still performed in accordance with its framework requirements, with reports delivered and related responsibilities fulfilled, while retaining full third-party verification effect.
  3. An MRA is a mutual-recognition mechanism: an additional attribute for cross-border recognition, not a prerequisite for third-party verification status or validity.
  4. Only organizations within the accreditation systems of Global ACI MRA signatory members can benefit from MRA cross-border mutual recognition.
